Check Mail automatically "Never"

Hello, I want to manually check email on certain accounts to avoid it getting bombarded in my inbox. Yes I can setup rules and have it dump in folders, but it would be nice to have a "manually check" under check new messages every.." " minutes

Right now its "disabled" I guess thats another way, but pane to enable it.
