Chronological date for open tasks

How does one get the open tasks window to continuously display the tasks in chronological order? When I login and when I return to the task window (home) the tasks revert to the order in which they were entered. I can get the chronological order by clicking the date, but need to do this every time I return to the open task home page. Is there a way to make chronological order the default?
