Clarification : Tasks

Areas for clarification :

Can a Similar task be created for a group of users - other than cloning method
Once a task is created with a reminder for say weekly , if the task is closed from the dashboard will the reminder also extinguish , as say this task is a weekly task so a closure of task also deletes the reminders .
