Hello guys, why do we all still make calls when there are numerous ways to get connected with others? Because they are instant, right! Few things are much simpler when talked rather than chatting. Today's post is on Cliq calls and as we all know calls in and out, I will just breeze through the call features in Cliq, won't take much of your time!
Why Cliq calls?
- Cliq calls do not require you to know your colleagues mobile number. Thus eliminating the hassle of keeping up with mobile numbers as and when your colleagues update their numbers.
- It is now easier to keep in contact with colleagues who travel frequently because you don't have to worry about new mobile numbers and roaming charges! All you need is good internet connectivity.
- Cliq calls works between Mobile <-> Web <-> Desktop App <-> Mobile, therefore your colleagues are always reachable even without phones!
- Your chats are always accessible when on a Cliq call thereby allowing you to share files and collaborate with your colleague as you talk about it.
Accessing calls in Cliq is fairly simple - just tap on call icon (audio or video) in the user’s chat header. You can also access calls by long tap on a user's chat in the chat list view. And that’s pretty much everything about Cliq calls. Oh! and just a few more nitty-gritties that will be handy when using Cliq calls.
iOS:
Access Cliq calls easily
right from your phone Contacts
and when your calls go unanswered/declined,
send a short voice or video message
. To do so, tap on Voice Message/Video Message, record, and send.
Minimize your video call to a bubble
and drag it as you navigate within Cliq, and when you receive another regular mobile call you can
swap between both calls
in a jiff.
Android:
Are you busy and cannot answer the call?
Then let your caller know of it by sending an instant message. Swipe from below -
Respond with a message
, select a message to send or type your own custom message.
Also you can
minimize your video call
and move it as you navigate between apps on your phone. This feature is supported only in Android Oreo.
That's all folks! Hope it was brief just like I said. Do make use of Cliq calls and let us know your feedbacks.
