I have been an accountant 20 years and worked on various accounting systems.  I have used real small systems, enterprise systems and several in between. 

 

To elevate your Zoho Books to the next level, you'll want the ability to close modules.  That is, if accounting department is done with A/R (invoicing) then you want the ability to close that period for A/R.  That'll prevent the A/R module posting into the past.  That way the financial statements can be finalized. 

 

This would really take Zoho books to the next level.  Otherwise, you'll always be at the QuickBooks level.
