Closing Date vs Revenue Collection Date

Is there a way to set two different closing dates? The issue I'm having is I want the Revenue value to be recognized the same time as when we actually collect the revenue, which is a different time than the Closing Date due the lead times. Our business has a big lead time between the closing date and revenue collection date.
