CNAME Question - New User

When I create CNAME in my DNS provider' profile and set it to ZOHO Mail, would it route only emails to ZOHO or my web site as well? I have a web site on a server which works pretty well, but I need to migrate my email elsewhere - how could I do it without moving my web site anywhere from where it is now? Disclosure: I am not a web wiz :(
