CNAME Verification Failed

CNAME Verification Failed

Hello there!  Happy New Year to you all.

I am having problems while trying to verify my domain using the CNAME method (basically, after pressing the grey "VERIFY" button).

Everything went well for the first part, adding the CNAME.  So then I need to wait, for an hour or more (a little pop window said something like "based on your provider, you need to wait for 30 to 45 minutes".

Well, it's been more than FOUR HOURS and I'm getting the "CNAME Verification Failed" error.

Could it have something to do with the fact that my domain is registered with WHOIS.COM, who isn't on the drop-down list of domain providers (I had to click "Other...") ?

Any ideas?
