The flexibility of Zoho CRM has expanded greatly in the last few years, to the point that a leads module is now permissible to contain up to 350 fields. We don't use that many, but we are using 168 fields which are broken apart into 18 different sections.
This leads to a great deal of time spent by users scrolling up and down in the leads module scanning for relevant information.
To improve navigation, we would like to see either or both of 2 recommended improvements.
1. Section Based Navigation
For every section (or sub section) created in the module, create links on the left hand navigation pane, below the Timeline and above the Related Lists. While listing every section would be great, you could improve the flexibility to this by enabling the navigation link as an option for the section, similar to the option to utilize 1 or 2 columns in the display.
2. Collapsible Sections
Next to any section heading, users would have ability to expand and collapse a section. As well as an option at the top to expand or collapse all sections.
If you did decide to offer navigation pane links, you might consider allowing expand and collapsing directly from that side navigation panel as well or instead.
