Common drop-down lists

We want to use the same dependant drop-down lists (industry > submarket) in more than one module. From time to time we want to change or add to these. So far I have separate lists in accounts, potentials and cases that should have exactly the same information. I can't find a way of doing this apart from manually. Any ideas?
