Community Driven Feature ... Cycle #2

They tell me that the Community Driven Feature (voted in Cycle 1) is almost complete. So it is time to commence Cycle #2.


Rules of Engagement ...

a) In order to organize/manage this process, each suggestion must be started as a new post ...

b) Use this template ... proposed by user niskypto (John Whitney) ... to make your case.

Suggestion: What is your feature title (short)?

Purpose: What does this feature do?

Motivation: Why would anyone want this feature? What's your personal experience that lead up to this?

Example: Describe an example application that requires this feature?

Implementation: Where is this found in Zoho Creator? What other attributes are required?

Issues: What usability killers come to mind for this feature?

Workaround: YES/NO/MAYBE. Can this be done already with elaborate code, API stuff, or other means?

References: Reference to previous forum posts and other websites.

c) Subsequent posts be strictly confined to discussion of the suggestion in the first post ... in other words no hijacking/forking of discussion threads.

d) The "Suggest/Discuss" phase of this cycle will remain open until mid-night Sunday August/2 (after which there will be about 10 days of Voting ... details to follow).
