Complete Data export for Pricebooks module & associated products/list prices
Is there any way to make it easier to download a backup of an individual pricebook including all the details without having to perform a Vlookup to 3 files every time we wish to update more that a couple products?
Awhile back I had submitted a request to Zoho "We're looking to download
a copy of a pricebook and its associated products & book prices, however, when using the export feature under Data administration it only gives me the names and creation details of all our company pricebooks only."
The response I was given was: "You can get a data back up from Zoho CRM Settings>> Data Backup>> Immediate back up. In the Data backup you will get three different csv files for price books. They are PriceBooks(Consist of price book data alone), ProductPriceBookAssociation(Consist of list price for each individual item associated to a price books this will have only 3 fields Product ID, PriceBook ID and List Price of Product) and Pricing details (Consist of general discount percentage applied in a price book)
You can create a Vlook in an excel sheet based on Pricebook ID which is common in all 3 files to get a file you are looking for." Yes this was helpful, but its time consuming if we frequently need to update our price books, and we have many different pricebooks and this could get quite tedious...
