Completed calls still show up in Open Tasks list.

Completed calls still show up in Open Tasks list.

We track our phone calls as they come in or as we call our customers.  After the calls are completed they continue to show in the Open Tasks list indefinitely.  What is the proper way to remove calls from the Open Task list?
