Confused about setting up Pop

Confused about setting up Pop

I have opened a personal email account and want to have messages from my gmail account sent to the zoho email via POP.  I followed the "incoming server details for receiving email but it doesn't seem right to me to begin from mail.zoho.com as the instructions say.  I would think that I would set this up in the gmail account - instead of sending to Outlook via POP, it will sent it to the zoho account.    

I really need some clarification here.  My idea was to keep the gmail account for a while and eventually close it when most of my messages use the zoho address.  I do have a 2nd gmail account which I am leaving there, so that is a contuing address.

would appreciate having this process clarified.
