Contact History - Deciding Today for CRM solution

Why can I not see the full history of a contact in Zoho ? 

We created a web-to-lead form on our site and immediately started to receive enquiries (no idea where they went before)

Convert the lead in CRM , bcc a reply email and it appears in the record - great !

Well, no. I converted the lead gained from the web to a contact and when viewing the contact, all that history has disappeared. I don't want to have to enter a note manually "came from web to lead" it should be there automatically as a fundamental part of CRM. 

So if anyone from Zoho reads this - I have searched the forums and been disappointed at how many standard CRM features are missing including this one first highlighted 5 years ago. 

What plans do you have to add this or is my work around to have someone enter that manually as a note when converted from webtolead ?

I have received reasonably good support from Zoho during my 14 day trial, and for the money, it is reasonable well featured CRM system. bcc dropbox works in demo, I can strip down users to see and use only what they need and it has been relatively bombproof on importing contacts and - mots importantly - opportunities(potentials).

Disappointed in reading the forums at the lack of engagement on new features or standard CRM functionality.
