Who agrees with me that one of the main things that people want to do in the contacts module is search for someone?

And that a 'someone' is a person (a human being)

 

And that a person has a first and last name.

So would it come as no surprise that perhaps one of the most common used feature is to search by first and last name????? 

 

So if I want to search for one of my contacts called John Citizen

Previously I would just search "John C" in the contact name filter that was on top and it would display.

And I would use this feature about 10 or 20 times / day.

 

NOW... for me to do this

 

1. Click on "Filter Contact By" icon

2. Type in "first" (so that the "First Name" filter displays)

3. Select "First Name" filter

4. Click on the 'x' to clear the filter displays

5. Type in "last" (so that the "Last Name" filter displays)

6. Select "Last Name" filter

7. Change dropdown to "contains"

8. Type in "Y"

9. Press Enter

 

9 STEPS!!!

 

Please explain this logic by Zoho?
