I have a wealth management company. I use Accounts to track the client as a whole and Contacts to track individuals. In most instances there are multiple Contacts that are part of an Account. Also, it is common that a Contact could be part of multiple Accounts.
I would like to be able to track the Contact Role within each Account. It was suggested to create a Single Line field in the Contact record and then add it to the Contact layout grid in the Account record. The problem with this is the Contact Role becomes the same for all Accounts they are linked to. This is not what I need.
Are there any suggestions on how to accomplish this using a different approach? I'm open to all ideas.
