Contact versus Lead
doltish newbie question I am sure but...
I am not clear on the difference between a Lead and a Contact in Zoho CRM.
For instance, speaking to a friend, I now want to send him a package of information on what we do (in the ultimate hope that he will either buy or spread the word to others)
Is he a Lead or a Contact?
Similarly, I am generating a list of Media people to whom I want to send promotional material (in the hopes they will write about it in their magazines).
Should I enter them as Leads or Contacts?
