Continues to retrieve mail from deleted POP account

Continues to retrieve mail from deleted POP account

I deleted a POP account over one week ago, but it still continues to fetch mail from that account and it still shows the account on the pull-down menu. How do I get it to completely forget that account? Because Zoho continues to fetch, I'm unable to fetch using an email client. The mail client never finds new emails to fetch. Will I need to delete my entire Zoho account?
