Hi there.

I'm in the process of setting up our CRM from scratch and redesigning all of the modules.

Currently I'm working on the front end and 3 modules in particular -

Leads (CustomModule1)
Customers (Renamed from Accounts)
Contacts (CustomModule2)

Initial data will be imported as Leads.  Once this has progressed with the potential customer, I want to be able to use a Convert button to input these into Customers (and also Contacts if possible), mapping a number of fields - an example being Phone which is in all 3 modules.

I have seen a number of posts explaining this but none of the scripts have worked for me after I've messed around with the fields.  I'm able to get it to Save but when I press to button to execute it nothing happens.  I've been round in circles and I think I'm now just at the point where I'm confusing myself and overlooking something very simple!

Please could someone provide a sample script with all of the key parts and then an example line for field mapping?  I'm happy to write the rest myself and ensure everything crosses over, I just need pointing in the right direction.
