Convert custom module entry into Deal

Convert custom module entry into Deal

We're using CRM to manage real estate transactions, and currently use the leads module as it should be for clients. However is it possible to have a custom module (let's call it "offer") that can be able to convert to a deal? It would only need to map over offer name and assigned account so I am hoping it's something fairly easy to create this function.
