Converting Month Numeric Value to Month Name

Converting Month Numeric Value to Month Name

Is there a way to convert the number returned by getmonth() from the numeric value to the month name? I would think something like a built-in function or CASE OF statement but I don't see either of those as available. I could do it with a really long series of if/then statements but there has to be an easier way. Thanks!
