Hello Everyone!
We are excited to introduce Cookie Consent Management for webforms. Read on to learn more.
Webforms are online forms embedded on websites that allow users to submit data and create records in Zoho CRM. These forms utilize cookies to track analytics data, such as unique user visits and form submissions. However, global data protection and privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, require businesses to obtain explicit consent before using cookies that identify users. This creates a need for webforms that support cookie consent requirements and help businesses align with applicable privacy regulations.
To address this challenge, we are introducing Cookie Consent Management for webforms. This feature empowers your form visitors to opt in or opt out of being tracked via cookies.
Consent Collection Options
You can collect cookie consent from visitors using one of the following methods:

- Cookies Consent Banner: A banner that features a fixed message and buttons for users to opt in (accept) or opt out (reject) of cookies. You can also choose to simply notify users about the use of cookies without showing the buttons.
Additionally, you may include a link to your company's privacy policy, which can be displayed alongside the banner message. Here is a preview of how the cookie consent banner appears on a webpage.
- Self-manage via API: Use our cookie APIs to fetch the cookies and implement them only after receiving user consent. This method is beneficial if your website already features a cookie banner.
What are you waiting for? Set up a cookie consent system for your webforms to ensure compliance with global data protection laws on cookies and user tracking.
Cookie consent management is currently available only for customer accounts in the JP and AU data centers. We will roll it out to customers in other data centers in phases.
