Copying and pasting a range from a Zoho sheet into a Zoho writer document

Copying and pasting a range from a Zoho sheet into a Zoho writer document

We have moved to Zoho Writer (instead of Word) and Zoho Sheet (instead of Excel). However, I cannot seem to copy (via highlight) and paste a specific range of a Zoho sheet into a writer template. It loses all the formatting.

The only way I am able get something approximate using Zoho for the entire process – and this is not stable, it changes all the time – is to publish/embed using html from a Zoho sheet to an external site, and then in Zoho writer, insert it as html,

Copying and then publishing/embedding the Zoho Sheet range in html and then inserting it via html in Zoho Writer is a very unstable procedure, because the options in Zoho sheet ‘Publish’ dropdown menu seem to change every day. And if by accident I revert, the table is entirely lost.So is there another easier way to do this? I would like to be able to do everything within the Zoho umbrella.
