I am trying to add a external pop account for my own domain.

My webhoster says that I should use port 110 for incoming mail and 587 for sending mail (both with mail.mydomain.com)

But adding port 587 results in an error:  Account is not ValidReason:Could not convert socket to TLS.

How can this be remedied?
