Could use a litle help on product forecasting


Can someone give me an example of how they are using the system that might address what I am looking for?


THE REQUEST:

In order to forecast manufacturing I need a report by month by product to show what we need to build based on what our staff is projecting

I tried customizing potentials with some custom fields and it will not give me the details grouped by product and totaled

quotes does not offer any option to see the individual product items within a quote and only gives upper level quote report info

any advice is appreciated
