Create an Event and link many Leads or Opportunities to that Event

Create an Event and link many Leads or Opportunities to that Event

Is it possible to create an event (eg; a training course) and then link many leads, contacts or opportunities to that event.
I.E. Have the event available as a lookup when adding an activity to a Lead, Contact or Opportunity?
