Create custom fields using the api

Hi,

We want to create few custom fields in Contacts module using API. Is there any way to create custom fields by API.

Already we checked a post that 1 year ago vijay.sekar replied that "Currently creating custom fields is not supported in ZohoCRM API.Please get back to us if you need further clarification."

Is this feature developed?
