Create Lead from Cold Call

I have been using tasks to document my time and note while making cold calls. I do not enter cold call prospects into the program until I consider them a lead. Is there an easy way to create a Lead from an activity? Or once a Lead has been created copy the relevant tasks to that Lead file?
