Create new contacts lay-out are still the same even though I already edited it with different lay-out

Dear Zoho

I just input the needed additional information I want to add on the contact Fields List and then edit the Page Layout. I thought that the moment I will edit the custom field list it will automatically change to the information I created but then when I checked it now… It seems the contact info questions (Zoho's contacts page layout) are still the same.

I can edit the values but when I create a new contacts the new format I created aren't available to me. I mean the info questions that I created on contact field list are not change according to how I edited it.

Isn’t it that when I added something on Fields List and edited the page lay-out on the format that I created it will automatically change accordingly? Based on my readings and understandings it should.

How can I resolved this error?
