Create task when new lead created

Create task when new lead created

Hi,
I am trying to create a task whenever a new Lead is created. I have added my task rule to the Workflow rules section. The task has a due date of:
WFRule Trigger Date plus 4

But the help is not clear what triggers the rule to create the task.
