Create Workflow Rule Based on Day of the Month

Create Workflow Rule Based on Day of the Month

I would like to create a Workflow Rule that is based on a field which has the day of the month; i.e., 4, etc.  I'm sure this can be done but don't have the first clue on how to do it.

Can anyone explain how this is done?
