Creating a Formula Field for a %

Hi,

I was wanting to know if I can create a field that returns a % of another field.  For example, I have an amount field I have in my customer crm, I want to create another field that returns 19% of this Amount field as this one amount I charge for our fees.

I am having trouble trying to figure out how to do this?

If I can do this, I then want to create another field that subtracts the 19% from the Amount field, to show what the customer should receive.

If this can be done, could you please provide me with an example to place in the formula to review?
