Creating a HOME button in Views/Reports

Hi
I've been trying to create a link to HOME in Reports/Views, after countless user requests. Have finally found a way of doing this that doesn't require IFRAMEs or embedding. I've just sent a message to support to see it its okay, because it seems to break some unexplained condition in one of Zoho's Help pages.

For the record, here's how (and this could be used to create a full Nav menu and other things)

Open the relevant View and then
* Click on Edit this application
* Click Create New
* Click Page
* Give it the Page Name "Home"
* Place this Page under the section called Home (ie rather than the default: New Section)
* Click on Create
* Create a Page with a single OpenURL command (using the link you want "HOME" to go to)
* Save script
* Create a link to the app that uses the following format:
https://creator.zoho.com/yourname/homebutton-nz-hazard-register/#View:Hazard_Register

RATHER THAN the recommended Permalink:
https://creator.zoho.com/yourname/homebutton-nz-hazard-register/view-perma/Hazard_Register/

This goes against what Zoho suggests on one of their support pages, although I'm not yet sure why:
The application url followed by /view-perma/ and view link name will display the view alone without displaying top header and other application components. This url will be used to link the view from external websites.

I am not clear on whether this is serious or not, or whether it will lead to any difficulties. All I know is that I NEED TO BE ABLE to offer my users access to the Top Header.

I will let folks know if Zoho responds to say that this is a problem. I am posting this because I know many of you have had the same or similar questions in the past.

Cheers from New Zealand.
