Creating a new entry in Desktop

Creating a new entry in Desktop

I would like to create a new window in the desktop.
I have documents or links that are personal, and others that are profssional.
Is it possible to add a new window in my desktop that are similar to, let's say "Favorite Links", called "Professional Links"? Or another window similar to "Tasks" but, named "Appointments"?
