Creating a parent account?

Creating a parent account?

Can someone tell me what the best way to create a parent account is? I have a company that has many stores/branches and I have to sell into each store individually at the moment. I assume I should create the parent account first then I can input the individual stores (some as prospects/leads, others as pitched and waiting for orders,...).

Thanks for any assistance - we're just starting to use this product for our very small burgeoning company.
