Creating a project From Inside CRM does not set task States

I have the CRM connected to Projects and have a template to create a project with a batch of tasks. 

If I create this inside PROJECTS, All is fine. Yay!

If I create this same project using the New Project link from the Projects related list in the CRM, then the task states are not set correctly and the tasks do not open when you click on them. 

Can you have a look?
