CRM Calendar - view changes dates when I selct a different viewing option

If I jump a couple of months ahead in the calendar to see what is going on with events etc and for example I am looking at 5th December 2010 in 1 day view. If I decide to change the view to 30 days to see what surrounds this day the date jumps back to the present time with the new view and then i have to navigate my way back to the same time again that i was just at.

Can you please fix this so that the view change can occur without the date re-setting?
...Or at least provide an option where that could be applied to a setting somewhere.
