CRM current date inserted into quote

Hi,

does anyone know if and how it's possible to insert the current date into an inventory template like a quote?
Of course, I could create a new field in quotes, labelled current date and set the date to today when I create a quote.
However, I am looking for a way to automatically include the current data when I export the quote to pdf (which might be a day after the quote was created).
