CRM Custom Reports do not Appear as Source Reports when creating Dashboard Elements

CRM Custom Reports do not Appear as Source Reports when creating Dashboard Elements

I am trying to create dashboard charts based on reports that I have created in CRM. The reports work and run as reports but are not available for selection as Source Reports when creating the Dashboard Element. What am I doing wrong?
