Users are receiving a note on Dashboards that they do not have permission to "show this component."

The security profile for these users has View, Create, Edit access to the Module. I'm assuming this could be related to a field level permission on the page layout for the module.

Do users have to have Read and Write field permissions to be able to display the data on the Dashboard and if so, why?
