How do I find out what is planned for CRM Email?

One of the most powerful attractions for my clients is the ability to associate email with the contact (and account) record.

Right now only sent mail is associated - not any responses.

I would like to tell them to upgrade but it doesn't appear to be in the premium versions either.

So now I am searching around trying to understand what your plans and intents are for CRM/Mail integration.  Have you made such plans and stated them somewhere that I can read them?
