We are trying to adapt the CRM to the new GDPR law.
Our problem is the following:
- The mass mailing of emails through the CRM is used to send emails to our clients related to the service they hire (not commercial emails).
- We use Zoho Campaign to send commercial emails to Leads and Contacts.
- In our web forms we have included the acceptance checkbox for commercial emails synchronized with the Email Opt out field in CRM.
We found that there are contacts that become customers who have the Email Opt out field checked, so they do not receive the emails related to the services they hire.
How can we manage this? On the one hand, we want to send emails and make calls related to the service our clients hire, and on the other hand, manage the consent of commercial notifications that we send through Zoho Campaign in our web forms?
