Hello everyone!
As you all know, we meter the API calls based on the credits available for your edition of CRM.
We planned to include the integration tasks (which are nothing but the wrappers for CRM APIs) under the API Credits.
Here is the related post.
Based on the feedback we received, we updated the API Dashboard to view the credits consumed by API calls and integration tasks, individually. We also sent notifications when the aggregate credits from API calls and integration tasks reached 80%, 90%, and 100% of your daily limit.
While the API Dashboard showed only the usage, the integration tasks did not consume any credits until now.
In CRM, we already had plans to increase the minimum available credits for all editions (other than Free) to benefit the API users. So, we delayed merging integration tasks with API credits. Now, with the increase in the base limit, this merge will be hassle-free for CRM organizations.
So, we will increase the minimum available limit to all editions (except Free) in CRM to 50,000.
Please note that the maximum limit for your edition remains unchanged.
Here is the updated number of credits for each edition.
Edition | Old Allowed Credits | New Allowed Credits |
Free | 5000 | 5000 (no change) |
| 5,000 + (Number of User licenses x 250) + Add-on credits | 50,000 + (Number of User licenses x 250) + Add-on credits |
Professional | 10,000 + (Number of User licenses x 500) + Add-on credits | 50,000 + (Number of User licenses x 500) + Add-on credits |
Enterprise/Zoho One | 15,000 + (Number of User licenses x 1000) + Add-on credits | 50,000 + (Number of User licenses x 1000) + Add-on credits |
Ultimate/CRM Plus | 15,000 + (Number of User licenses x 2000) + Add-on credits | 50,000 + (Number of User licenses x 2000) + Add-on credits |
Will it affect all organizations?
No, it will not. As per our stats, 99% of the organizations' usage does not cross the maximum limits even when the integration tasks consume API credits. For these orgs, integration tasks will start consuming API credits from May 3, 2022.
For the remaining 1%, we will give a temporary grace limit so that your consumption does not cross the daily API limit. This also gives you time to analyze and
purchase more credits, if required.
We will send follow-up emails to those organizations. This process will be done in phases before the end of May.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
