CRM outer margin quote template

Hi,

the print preview as well as the exported pdf of a quote don't have a white margin on either side, as it is customary for documents.That means that the text starts at the top left corner and ends at bottom right corner.
I changed the indents when customising the quote template. There I could create margins top, bottom, left and right. But this was not transferred to print preview or the pdf.
Does anyone know how to do this?
