In CRM, currently when a Potential (what we call “Opportunity”) is converted and moved over (via either closed lost or closed won scenario) the Opportunity attaches to the Account Record. Then from the Account Record, the main contact that was associated with that Potential/Opportunity is referenced and any relevant note history can be viewed via the Account or in the lost potential/opportunity.
However, this creates a big gap in our note history for our Contacts.
We’d like to have Potentials/Opportunities that have been Closed or Lost to ALSO be attached to the main contact, not just indirectly through the Account or Opportunity. Reason being is that the person and that contact history of that person matters so much to us, especially if/when people move around, change jobs, etc.
Suggested…to be able to have the Tasks/Activities map to the both the Potential/Opportunity AND the Contact Record (person) attached to the Opportunity. Is that possible?
