CRM Total Touch Point Score increases every 30 minutes

Some of my leads on CRM have had their Total Touch Point Score incrementing every 30 minutes or so, and their scores are vastly different from their scores on Campaigns. I am aware that CRM and Campaigns have different scoring rules, but the gap between CRM and Campaigns Scores are quite huge, and how the Touch Point Score in CRM increases this way doesn't seem normal to me.
