current date and time

Hi. I am pretty new to this.

I am exploring as much as i can and I am very bad in programming.

I am trying to create a form whereby the first line on the form needs to indicate the current date or time as long a user wants to enter a field.

But I am not sure to go about doin' that?
any experts here could lend me a hand?
