Custom field data not converting to accounts but is converting to contacts

Hi,

I have several custom fields set up and MAPPED as advised in your tutorial and this works fine however on conversion of a lead the custom field data doesn't import to the accounts screen. I inported this data from an XLS file and the data display correctly in leads but when I conver the data only converts to contacts but not the accounts despite everything being mapped correctly.

Can you please advise me how to fix this.
