custom fields as formatted output in e-mail template

I use CRM Professional.
For my contacts, i created a lot of custom fields. The contacts are people who work as it-freelancer. So i have fields like
- Project experience
- Skills
- Education and Certifications
...
In this fields i copied a list of qualifications and other informations.

Then i created an e-mail-template, to send some employers the skill profils of some freelancers.
In this template i inserted the fieldnames.
When i tested the output, the following happened.

When i open the sent mail in the email-addon or in google-mail, the field contents are absolutely unformatted without line breaks. The list becomes a single long sentence.

Whe i open the sent mail in the data record in CRM, the content looks good, but not in the other e-mail-clients.


How can I display the contents in an email as it is in the custom fields?

It's important for me to find a solution.
